Terms and Conditions

  These terms and conditions stated, as may be amended from time to time, shall govern all services rendered by HomeUnited Repair Service (“HomeUnited”) and our employees (the “Tech Specialist") to you (the “customer"). By allowing our Tech Specialist to proceed with the provision of services, either through means of oral or written communication, or in electronic form, the customer is deemed to have accepted the following terms:-

 

   HomeUnited’s operating hours are between 10am-5pm, Monday- Saturday. Any appointment made outside of the operating hours will be deemed an emergency service request. An additional emergency surcharge of S$50 is payable. For after 10pm or Sunday and public holiday wil be $100.

 

   HomeUnited will not be liable for any damages, loss of valuables or inconvenience during the period of service. The customer must exercise adequate supervision and ensure all valuables are safe. Should there be any dispute regarding the above, the police must be informed immediately.

Quotation

  Our Tech Specialist will provide you with a quotation and brief summary of the job scope for your approval before commencing with the repair.

   

 Upon your written or oral approval of the quotation, our Tech Specialist will proceed with the services as set out in the quotation.

   

 All clarifications with regards to the quotation or job scope must be made prior to the commencement of work. You may not make any cancelation after the approval and commencement of work.

   

 Should you disagree with the judgement made by the Tech Specialist and wish to execute work according to your instruction, HomeUnited and our Tech Specialist will be freed of any liability pertaining to that service.

   

 All quotation offered and agreed upon are subjected to the availability of parts. Should a part be unavailable and the service cannot be rendered, the Tech Specialist will refund you any deposit less any applicable transportation charge, inspection fee, abandon fee and services rendered during the process e.g. dismantle and reinstallation.

 

Payment of service rendered

  • Upon completion of service rendered, you agree to make full payment of the cost as stated in the quotation, unless otherwise stated in writing.


  • Should our Tech Specialist be unable to complete the service in the same visit, our Tech Specialist shall receive a deposit of 50% for any work quotation that is accepted by customer while onsite. However if customer rejected or in consideration and paid the inspection fee and later agreed to proceed and accept our quote, a revisit fee of $20 is addon to the quote.


  • Should the customer wishes to cancel the agreed service after the deposit is made, the deposit will be non-refundable.

 

 Service warranty provided 

  • All services, except for parts, are covered with LIMITED SERVICE warranty as specified by HomeUnited Tech according to the quote accepted, unless otherwise Not stated by Techs. will be considered and No Warranty agreed.


  • Coverage of warranty only extends to the service rendered and does not include parts or material malfunction, or any areas beyond the scope of the agreed quotation, unless otherwise stated. 

   

  • Agreed warranty will be voided if the customer tamper or engages another company for their services on the item. 

Complaints

  • Should a fault arise during the period of Agreed warranty, payment must in full before our Tech Specialists are liable to investigate the fault.


  • If you contact us during the warranty period specified a complain transport is $10 and checking is free of charge.


  • Should any fault arise not related to the actual works done, our transport and checking fee will be activated to basic $50 payable instead of nominal fee $10 at the discretion of HomeUnited Techs. Any new job not related to the actual work done will be entitle to 30% discount.

 

HomeUnited Super Plan/ Econ Plan

  • All major repairs are Free under HomeUnited Super Plan but do not extend to work that involves conceal/underground/above-ceiling pipes and wires.


  • Any such work shall be discounted by 30% for customers under the HomeUnited Econ & Super Plan.


  • Minor repair works under Econ Plan are defined as any repairs that do not require removal, dismantling or the use of specialised tools.


  • Examples of such include hi-jet, rodding or drill.


  • Such work must also have a height not exceeding 3m and must be able to be completed under one (1) hour.


  • ECON PLAN Major Repair are not included and are entitle to be discounted by 30%.

 

  • N.V.B. (No Visit Bonus) discount for Renewal:  0 visit = 80%, 1st Visit =70%, 2-3 visit = 60%, 4-5 visit = 50%, 6-7 visit = 40%, 8-9 visit = 30%, 10-11 visit = 20%, 12th onward 10% . HomeComplete Warranty plan No Visit Bonus amended 1st January 2024

Terms & Conditions governing our LIMITED WARRANTY:

1)     All Job Payment must be Fully paid as Complaints will not be attended for unpaid or partial payment.

2)     Warranty does not cover parts and material faults unless otherwise stated and likewise does not cover LABOUR if Warranty for Part ONLY is stated.

3)     All complaint should be duly informed within 24hrs of the fault, Otherwise warranty shall be void. All complaints can only be executed during office hours. If  customer engages other company to execute the complaint, the warranty and liability shall be void.

4)     Liabilities subjected to non-tampering whatsoever and only to the specified point of work and any other complication or complaint arises even at adjacent points are not acceptable.

5)     We are not liable for any damages, losses or inconveniences during the period of service. Hence customer must exercise adequate supervision and keep all valuables. Customer must check before allowing our staff to leave. Any losses shall be reported to the Police immediately.

6)     All complaint, dispute or unhappiness which cannot be resolve by our CUSTOMER Service or Tech Specialist should send email to

7)     Our Company being licensed by PUB and EMA will execute work in accordance to the regulations hence Customer will bear all liabilities if requests to execute work according to their instruction

8)     All work costing must be agreed upon before commencement. Thereafter, any dispute on price is a violation of obligation and agreement.

9)     The Company’s normal charges are only during office hours: 9am to 5pm. Any work before or after official times are consider as EMERGENCY SERVICE on STAR-RATED charges

10)   All Quote accepted to proceed would require a DEPOSIT of 50% upon confirmation. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE unless part is not available. Any cancellation or demand for discount is a BREACH OF CONTRACT AND OBLIGATION

Reminder Clause:

a.     All Adhoc Repairs during Warranty period must pay a Transport Charge of $10 for every visit.


b.     All Adhoc Repair prices quoted and agreed upon is subjected to parts availability.


c.      After confirmation and deposit any request for discount or cancellation is not allowed.


d.     All repairs executed are subjected to the understanding that HomeUnited is not responsible for unfortunate unforeseen circumstances of subsequent breakdown of other parts or circuitry.


e.     As Parts are manufactured by 3rd Party, HomeUnited will not provide warranty for Parts.


f.      All Appliances Agents does not give Warranty for Parts when purchase off their shelves and are subjected to model availability and price confirmation.


g.     During repair processes any hidden complication that render the job not economical to continue and if decided to abandon, customer will need to                pay abandon fee ranging $50 to $200 dependent on the job as specify by HomeUnited Tech. in the Quote.


i.      All Call charges Inspection Fee, Add-On Cost or Abandon Fee are Payable unless otherwise stipulated.

Updates or amendments to this Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise the Terms and Conditions Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Terms and Conditions policy. The last revision will be reflected in the "Last modified" section. Your continued use of the Platform, following the notification of such amendments on our website, constitutes your acknowledgment and consent of such amendments to the Terms and Conditions Policy and your agreement to be bound by the terms of such amendments.
